One of the things that surprised me the most was discovering how much kiwis like the western culture. Here there are cowboys, country singers and dancers, and rodeos. I had never seen people riding bulls before, but it doesn't cause such suffer and agony to the animals as we do in Spain. At least, they are not cruelly killed and riders only have to stay on the bull only for around 10 seconds.
