Hot Water beach is said to be the highlight of the Coromandel Peninsula. It caught my interest at the beginning, as it seems pretty cool to dig yourself a hot waterspa (60ºC) just besides the sea. But in fact, it is too busy to be able to relax, surrounded by people dropping sand here and there despite the danger of burning your ass. So I would say that it is not a place to come back since you can find less popular places in New Zealand where you can do exactly the same. The best of our stay was Whangamata Music Festival and as you see we didn't want to miss any detail of the gig. More photos on "Coromandel Peninsula"
